Babies Who Lunch London is all about bringing you events where the focus is on YOU and not your baby....but don't worry you don't need to get a babysitter as your baby will be there to explore and enjoy what London has to offer with you! You can find out more about how our tours work here.

Babies Who Lunch London was started by me, Emma , following the birth of my son Noah. I found that whilst I loved being a parent it was hard work and could be quite isolating. Suddenly my life was no longer my own and I wanted a little bit of normality and also to connect with other parents. I saw that there were an abundance of baby classes and events but very few where the focus was on the parent having fun and a bit of a break from nursery rhymes and soft play. So I started a Facebook group called Babies Who Lunch and Explore London to organise meet ups with other parents to do activities around London, particularly food related ones. I then posted on a few mum and parent Facebook sites about the group and it grew from there. I had never expected it to be so popular.

Since setting up the group in December 2013 we are now (July 2014) almost 2500 Facebook members! I shortened the name and Babies Who Lunch London or BWL was born (Facebook can't seem to change it so click on our Facebook link on this page or search Facebook for Babies Who Lunch and Explore London). I launched the website on the 1st of April (I did get some people ask me whether it was an April Fools!) and our weekly newsletter started soon after. Between February and July Noah and I have enjoyed over 30 events - with Noah trying to become the best dined and cultured baby in London!

Babies Who Lunch London now works with a number of London's top restaurants making use of their private dining space (or sometimes the whole restaurant). Parents can then enjoy fine dining without worrying about disrupting other diners. They can sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious lunch with their babies while also getting the time to know other parents. Previous BWL lunch venues include Bar Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Pollen Street Social and Koffman's at the Berkeley Hotel.

We also enjoy all the culture which London has to offer with a number of guided tours of London museums and sights, including the V&A, Tate Modern, British Museum and Kew Gardens. Check our Upcoming Events to see what you could enjoy in the next few months.
